May 9th, 2003 Thanks to Shruti for this submission: I have been to Wilmington 3 times before (all the way from NY). I was on spring break so this was this was now my 4th time. I wanted to be an extra on Dawson's Creek because it never worked out before when I tried, so I made sure I called a few days beforehand this time - and I did -I got on the list. :) We arrived in Wilmington on Saturday. The next day we got a call from Mclain (he's in charge of extras). He was calling from the office and he wanted me and my dad to come in because my dad was the one who took me to Wilmington. He had to fill out some forms, and give our social security number and stuff like that. Then Monday, April 14th came, and we had to arrive at Greenville loop by 6 AM...and then the van took us to this place to eat breakfast and stuff. After a long time we went to the outdoor part of Dawson's house...it was really beautiful..("the creek"). It was also a really nice day and I was waiting for the stars to come. I saw Kerr Smith, and Jams, and Mary-Margaret, but no Katie :( Then 10 minutes later..I saw her...she was wearing this black tanktop with a very pretty beige skirt....and then Michelle came out too. They were shooting a scene for *Edited for spoilers* (this is for the series finale) and they were taking soo many shots, and whenever they had breaks it was hard to talk to any of the actors - as Katie was either on her cell phone or getting her makeup done in between breaks, etc. But then finally she's just alone and walking towards where I was...so I went up to her and I just introduced myself...and I asked if I could get a picture with her...and she politely said yes. I also apologized to her, and she responded back, "No don't worry about that - you came all the way from NY." I was like wow she's so sweet haha....Chris Klein was also there so he was talking to her....and I talked to Joshua Jackson, and Kerr Smith...all of them were really nice...it was like a dream come true for me!
